Mederma Advanced Plus Scar Gel is a topical skin-protectant gel formulated to help visibly reduce the appearance of old and new scars. It is suitable for scars resulting from injuries, burns, surgery, acne and cuts.
The formulation contains Allium cepa bulb extract, allantoin, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate. Its lightweight gel texture spreads easily over the affected area.
Directions: Apply evenly and massage gently into the scar. According to the package, use once daily for eight weeks on new scars and two to three times daily for three to six months on existing scars. Begin only after the wound has completely closed.
Caution: For external use only. Do not apply to open or broken skin. Stop using it if an allergic reaction or significant irritation occurs.
